My name is Deirdre (Sidlauskas) DeMarco. I live in Boston, love puppies, hoard clothes and am on the creative marketing team at a large retail company, primarily doing social media.

I started my career interning at a small shoe business and then was hired full time after college as Junior Brand Director, working directly with the CEO. I ran our social media accounts, website, influencer partnerships, styled photoshoots and managed SEO.

Fast forward…I’ve been at my current company since 2019 and got promoted (twice) to my senior copywriter role. I’ve completely changed the vibe of our organic social the last 2 years, significantly grown engagement rates, and have brought new concepts to life through lo-fi videos, behind the scenes, employee features and more captivating content.

Through the years, I’ve worked in both digital and print, and contributed to a massive rebrand. My goal is to continue leading creative initiatives that result in increased interactions, more customers and higher sales.

My main focus is on photo and video shoots, organic social, product descriptions and labeling collection styles. Fun fact: merchandising named a skirt after me :).

I also have years of experience writing emails, web pages, catalog, paid media, retail signage, banners and more.
